At 541.17 carats The African Queen Diamond surpasses the Great Star of Africa at 530.2 carats and is only topped by the Golden Jubilee Diamond at 545.67 carats, making it the second largest diamond in the world. All were discovered at Premier Mine. The Queen is oval-cut and a white diamond, internally and externally flawless in color. The diamond is owned by Garritt De Vries, owner of Diamond mines, hotels, casinos, night clubs, health spas, porn magazines, porn studios, etc. Let’s just agree the man is disgustingly rich. He’s also ruthless. I want you all to be very careful. His guards will be well armed and they will have mutant detection gear for sure.
De Vries will be opening a huge hotel and casino, Vegas-style, on Waikiki Beach on Oahu Island. He will be showing off his pride and joy, The African Queen, at the grand opening as the new complex will be called “De Vries *Diamond Head* Hotel and Casino” after the Hawaiian volcano. There will be a media circus in the hotel lobby. De Vries loves attention. While he is mugging for the cameras, we will be down below, relieving him of his precious diamond. I already have blueprints of the hotel and casino, the vault and the mechanism which carries the diamond between the two. If you’re wondering, keep wondering. My contacts are sensitive about their identities.
I’ll be passing out maps later, but I have chosen a few among you to accompany me. The rest of you may enjoy the island while we are here. I’ll post times when you MUST be aboard. Crewmembers I will need are as follows (brief descriptions of your part in my plans will be by your name. If you want further info, I will be in my cabin. Otherwise, I will speak with you later about it).
*Maneater- I will need you in your cutest puppy form to insinuate yourself into De Vries Media Blitz and make yourself adorable and part of the scene. Make him look good…make plenty of billionaire and cute puppy photo ops…get my drift? We need to stall him as long as possible while the diamond is stalled between the vault and the lobby.
*Aegis- I hope you’re hungry my friend. I’m sending you after the main generator. There may be other little fail-safes, but this will take out most of the systems in the complex and juice you up pretty good. After you do that, you can rendezvous with either Boomer or myself and Bengal…whomever is closer.
*Doc- I want you to remain onboard and to have your sickbay stocked and ready for any and all casualties that may arise. I would also like you to ready a few volunteers to assist you as nurses.
*Umbra- You will be the one to slip in and get the diamond itself as it waits to rise up to the lobby of the hotel. You will also bring the diamond back out and hand it off to Hermes.
*Hermes- You will be waiting outside of the complex for Umbra to hand you the diamond. You will immediately take the diamond back to the King’s Ransom at top speed.
*Boomer- It’s your job to get Grease Monkey and Umbra to that diamond. If it’s in the way, tear it down.
*Grease Monkey- You’re the hacker. What Boomer can’t break, you hack, disengage, turn off, etc. Remember, Umbra can turn to shadow going in, but his hands and that diamond have to be solid coming out.
*Bengal you’re with me, Glacier, case you all forgot my codename…we will be keeping the guards busy and out of your way so you can do your jobs.
